SAC Jazz Festa

The Seoul Arts Center’s first Jazz Festa is set for two days with a line-up including Malo & BMK, La Ventana with indie band 10cm and so on.

When: September 8-9

Time: 6PM

Where: Shinsagae Square Outdoor Stage, Seoul Arts Center, Seocho-gu, Seoul.

Cost: 1-day ticket is 33,000 won, 2-day ticket is 55,000 won

Directions: Nambu Bus Terminal Station, Line three, exit 4 or 5.

Korea Burn Event in Gijipo beach

Korea Burn started in 2011 on Muuido Beach, near Incheon with roughly 150 burners in attendance. People set up tents, play guitars and bongos while everyone participes in body painting, hair braiding, yoga, dancing, bar-tending, and fire-spinning. “Our goal is to bring the spirit and community of Burning Man in Nevada, USA, to South Korea, with all the love and creative expression of Black Rock City,” the organizers say.

Where: Gijipo Beach, Anmyeon, Taean-Gun

Getting there: from Seoul you can take a bus from Express Bus Terminal or Nambu Bus Terminal to Anmyeon Bus Terminal, then W8,000 TAXI ride to the beach location.

Truly aweseome concert

The concept for the gig is that all the bands set up at the same time along the perimeter of the room with the audience in the center. Each band does one song at a time, no breaks, back to back to back etc., until the show is completed. There is no headliner or opener, no front row or back of the room.

There will be a concert held in Incheon this weekend for K-pop fans. 200 free tickets available for foreigners only.

The line-up consists of BOA, SHINEE , KARA, INFINITE, IU, 4MINUTE, JANG WOO YOUNG (2PM), KIM TAE WOO, BOYFRIEND, B.A.P. GIRL’SDAY, DAL-SHABET, CHOSHINSUNG, PIESTAR. Tasty Singers in K-POP including A-JAX, VIXX and Monsterz will show up
