Russian ballet

Fond of Russian ballet? Here’s a chance to watch the world-class “Lake” performed by Moscow City Ballet.

Hi Seoul Festival 2012

This year’s festival features 200 street performances.

Jinju Lantern Festival

The festival was first held as a memorial to pay tribute to around 70,000 soldiers who gave up their lives for the nation during the Japanese invasion of 1592.

Chondong Theater Chuseok Festival for tourists and foreign residents. There will be musical classes, costumes, face painting and other cultural events.

Getting there: City Hall Station (Seoul Subway Line 1, 2), Exit 12.
Walk 400m, following the stonewall road along Deoksugung Palace.
Chongdong Theater is located on the right side.

The Celestial watch: A palace musical

A beautiful tale told through traditional Korean song and dance on the grounds of Gyeonghuigung Palace.

Chuseon Folk Games

In celebration of Chuseok, the Tourist Information Center on the basement level of the Korea Tourism Organization Headquarters will be holding special holiday activities throughout the holiday.

Time: 9:30-6:30AM

Cost: free, walk-in events

Getting there: Jonggak Station (Subway Line 1), Exit 5 - Go 130m, and cross over Cheonggyecheon Stream; turn right, and go 70m to arrive at the KTO Headquarters on the left
